Job Analysis and Job Evaluation of the Firm

Job analysis obtains information about jobs and it uses that information to develop job description and job specification and to conduct job evaluation. It is the process of studying and collecting information relating to the operations and responsibilities of specific job. It is also a systematic investigation of the task, duties and responsibilities of a job. It provides an employee’s needed skills and abilities to accomplish the job successfully in the organization.
There are mainly three methods for job analysis in the organization. Our selected organization also uses these methods for the job analysis to the employees. These are given in below:
1.      Interviews method.
2.      Questionnaire method.
3.      Observation method.

Process of Job Evaluation:
 There is a specific system of job evaluation. Although this the system of job evaluation but our surveyed organization don’t follow the system completely. But sometimes the organization follows it for the purpose of job evaluation. As the organization reward the employees depend on the performance. So the organization has to evaluate the performance by job evaluation.
